I initially came across Simply Easy Refurbs (SER) online and followed their work for some time before my project reached the right stage. When I was ready to proceed, they were one of three companies I invited to quote.

From the outset, SER stood out for their efficiency, professionalism and clear understanding of the brief. As part of my due diligence, I spoke with three of their previous clients, all of whom gave strong, consistent feedback. This gave me the confidence to appoint them for a full refurbishment, including a loft conversion and rear extension.

We had a very good experience with Simply Easy Refurbs, the communication was always on point whether email, what’s app or telephone. The dedicated what’s app group is a great platform to check on the progress, share ideas visually etc. We had a good working relationship with all the team but especially with Tomas, our design was executed to a very high standard. All the works carried out was highly professional, done to a high standard and good quality materials were used. All the tradesmen involved worked exceptionally hard sometimes staying later than expected just to get the job done!

When the work was underway, I found all the tradesman kind, diligent and respectful, (our favourite was Constantin). Marius and the team were accommodating to what we needed and left our home immaculate.

We had a small footprint to work with in London so it was a toss up for some time if we should move or extend – and the loft has made a massive difference allowing us to get more use out of our current location we love.

The work was completed without a snag, and we now have a great dormer loft conversion for our growing family.

We had a great experience with Sebastian and his team. Our mansard loft conversion has added a whole new floor to our flat and provided an amazing new bedroom for our daughter. Our builder Loren and his team were excellent – the work was done on time and to cost; any issues were swiftly dealt with. As expected, we had to get a fire sprinkler system installed – with hindsight we could have started shopping around for a company to do it before building control confirmed it would be necessary; but we were lucky – we found a company who could do it quickly and that meant there was no delay to our project. The aftercare has been fabulous – only today their electrician came back to move a fan in the new bathroom ceiling that was in the way of our new cupboard doors. We couldn’t have asked for more from SimplyEasy Refurbs: we’d recommend them 100%.

Simply Easy Refurbs have recently completed a loft conversion in our home in SE London and we are over the moon with the results. From the planning stages to execution, we were given excellent advice on what our loft could accommodate along with optional extras that may benefit the project further down the line. At no point did we feel pressured or obligated to follow advice, however we trusted our builders, Minde and Stas, and have ended up with two light, bright double bedrooms and a great shower room that maximised space, without compromising the first-floor layout of our home.

The project has been finished to the highest standard, but equally important to us was the supportive customer service calls from Emma, and total transparency throughout the project, from Sebastian’s initial quote right through to completion. We were nervous undertaking the build in the current climate, however this well-connected company ensured our project ran smoothly from start to finish. We felt valued as customers, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for building projects and aim to have them back for phase 2 of our home build in the near future.
